Thomas Cook Smith, late farmer in Cogarth Airie, who died at the Cottage Hospital, Castle Douglas, 10th March 1928, aged 68 years. Also his wife Jessie McNaught Caven, who died at St. Ninian’s Place, Castle Douglas, 6th March 1941, aged 89 years. Thy will be done.

In loving remembrance of Archibald James Sanderson, Captain 1st Kings Own Scottish Borderers, elder son of Colonel Patrick Sanderson, Royal Scots Greys, of Glenlaggan, wounded 26th April 1915, at the landing on the Gallipoli Peninsula, died on board hospital ship “Sicilia”, 2nd May 1915, buried at sea.
