Also of the said John Reid, who died at Craigbrex, Colvend, 3 July 1886, aged 47 years. Also his widow Ann Sproat, who died at Woodside Cottage, Colvend, 4th March 1890, aged 64 years.
Sacred to the memory of Robert Campbell Esq’r, who died at Portmary, XVIIIth of April MDCCCXXXVI.. I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me. II Samuel XII 23d. Also Douglas Vietch McMurdo, who died at Port Mary XVIIIth of June MDCCCXLV.

Also Agnes Barbara Carter his daughter, who died at Holm Rook, Cumberland, 25th Feb’y 1868, aged 27 years. Also James Carter his son, who died 4th Jan’y 1877, aged 42 years. Also Barbara Glover, wife of John Carter, who died at Butterhole, Buittle, 26th Sep’r 1881, in the 82nd year of her age. Also Grace McKinnel, widow of the above James Carter, who died at Breckoniehill, Buittle, on the 8th March 1915, in her 70th year.
In memory of Anthony McTaggart, Joiner, Dundrennan Abbey, who died March 8th 1843, aged 62 years. Also David his son, who died April 2nd 1833, aged 19 months. Also David McTaggart his son, who died at St. Louis, U.S. America, 20th March 1872, aged 39 years, and is interred in La Fountaine Cemetery.

Also Jane McAdam his daughter-in-law, wife of John McTaggart, who died at Culnaightry on 11th Sept. 1885 aged 49 years. Also John McTaggart his only son, who died at Culnaightrie on 7th July 1909, aged 82 years. Also Robert McTaggart, eldest son of the said John McTaggart, who died at Castle Douglas on 31st August 1915, aged 58 years.

Also Helen, last survivor of the family of the above Andrew McNae & Helen Kissock, who died at Kirkcudbright, 2nd August 1906.

Grace Rigg, wife of Alexander Mitchell, who died on 24th May 1880, aged 68 years. John Rigg Mitchell, who died at Ormonde, New Zealand, (illegible) February 1890. James Mitchell, their eldest son, who died 10th January 1914, aged 75 years.

Also William Rae her husband, who died at Burnfoot, 19th Feb’y 1874, aged 101 years. Also the daughter-in-law Sarah Murtrie, wife of David Rae, who died at Burnfoot, 14th Nov 1881, aged 73 years. The said David Rae, died at Burnfoot, 28th Dec 1891, aged 88 years. Also Margaret Hope Rae, daughter of the said William Rae, who died at Burnfoot, 2nd June 1903, aged 93 years. Also Elizabeth Rae, died at Dalbeattie, 26th August 1915, aged 72 years. “They rest from their labours”.

Thomas their son, died at Dundrennan on 21st Oct. 1897, aged 79. Janet their daughter, died at Dundrennan on 27th July 1902, aged 62. Jane their daughter, died at Dundrennan on 9th Nov’r 1906, aged 83. Elizabeth Marshall their grand-daughter, who died at Dundrennan, 16th November 1922, aged 66. Also Janet Aitken, Dundrennan, died 15th October 1939, aged 83 years.
