Also Elizabeth Lithgow, the beloved wife of James Stewart, Jun’r, who died at St. John’s, Dalry, on the 21st March 1879, aged 32 years. In loving memory of Maggie Stewart, the beloved wife of Robert McQueen, who died in Liverpool, 13th August 1884, aged 37 years, and was interred in Kirkdale Cemetery. Much and deeply regretted by all who knew her. She sleeps in Jesus and is blest, from worldly trouble she is at rest, in sickness she with patience bore, she is not lost but gone before. This pious painful pastor is at rest, who while on earth with graces rare was blest; This heavenly star which once did shine so bright, is now gone down, Oh! we have lost its light, but yet in glory it shall ever shine, by this the gain is his, the loss is thine.
