McTaggart, born 1808, died 1873 (or 5), in Liverpool. Also of Joseph his son, who died at Kilterliltie, Tongland, on 11th Jan'y 1884, aged 73 years, and is interred here.

005Erected by Catherine Anderson in memory of John Anderson, her father, who died at Ringford, on the 1st of Nov. 1828, aged 75 years. And of Mary McNish, her mother, who died on the 28th of Oct. 1832, aged 81 years. Also the said Catherine Anderson, who died on the 30th of November 1835, aged 36 years. Robert Anderson, her brother, died at Ringford, 15 Feb. 1845, aged 66 years. Mary Anderson, her sister and spouse to Alex Millar, who died at Laurieston, 8th July 1856, aged 69 years. Marion, daughter of the above Robert Anderson, died at Tongland Village, 7th July 1877, aged 65 years.

020Erected in memory of Adam Gray, who died at Barstibly, on the 29th day of May 1843, aged 64 years. And of Margaret McClymont, his spouse, who died at Lodge of Kelton on the 24th day of June 1846 aged 49 years.
021Erected by William Jack, in memory of his children; Jane, who died 16th April 1863, aged 6 weeks; Archie who died 3th Dec. 1876 aged 8 years and 9 months; an infant son who died 14th March 1884. Jane Laidlaw, his mother-in-law, spouse of Robert Somers, who died 17th May 1870, aged 64 years.
022In memory of William McMillan of Chapel, who died 31st March 1873, aged 48 years. Much and justly regretted. And of his wife Mary Hyslop, who died at New Galloway, on Jan’y. 20th 1915, aged 91 years. And in loving remembrance of David McMillan,, their youngest son, who died in retirement in Tunbridge Wells, 6th July 1939, aged 71 years, for 44 years, doctor at Prestwich, Manchester.
023Sacred to the memory of Robert Ker, of Argrennan, born 2nd July 1836, died 7th November 1892. Lord lift them up the light of thy countenance to shine upon him and give him peace and joy in the eternal Kingdom. Elizabeth Hester Rosetta, his wife, born Jan. 1842, died July 1915, interred at Brompton Cemetery. Also sacred to the loved memory of Louisa Elizabeth Innes, eldest daughter of the above Robert Ker of Argrennan, and widow of Captain Archer Musgrave, R.N., born 18th June 1859, died 15th April 1937. The face of death is toward the sun of life. Also of Tom Musgrave, their son, 2nd Lieut. Irish Guards, who was killed in action at Cuinchy, 6th Feb. 1915.
024Sacred to the memory of Lucy Hodson died 18th March 1911, at Argrennan House. ‘Faithful Unto Death.’ This tablet was erected by Mrs. Ker.

Agnes Maitland their eldest daughter, died 9th September 1821, aged 63 years. David Maitland their third son, died 24th January 1788. aged 24 years. All interred here. Alexander Maitland, second son of the said Alexander Maitland and Helen Campbell, died in Jamaica 22nd July 1797 aged 33 years. Helen, their third daughter, died in London, 3rd January 1787 aged 18 years.

And John McKeachie, his son, who died at Robertson's Croft, Park of Tongland, 17th March 1824, aged 79 years. Also Jean Carnochan, his wife, who died at the same place, 1st July 1824, aged 75 years. And Helen McKeachie, their daughter, who died at Kirkcudbright, 5th March 1851, aged 78 years. And their son John McKeachie, miller, who died at Creetown, 18th April 1861, aged 91, and buried there. Also John Sheilds, son of the above Helen McKeachie, who died at Tongland, 3rd October 1884, aged 80 years. He belonged to the 42nd Black Watch.
056Here lyes the body of Henry Sim from Allonby, Cumberland, fisherman at Tongueland for 20 years or more, he died March 26th 1790, aged 55 years. Blessed at the dead which die in the Lord, for they rest from their labour's, and their works follow them.

Also John Hitchell, her husband, formerly merchant in Wigan, who died at Tongland 19th Jan. 1852, aged 80 years. Also the above Elizabeth Billinge, born at Pemberton, Lancashire, 1768; died at Tongland 7th Sept. 1858, aged 90 years.
